As part of its ongoing expansion and development, data-driven invention company Iprova has announced the opening of a new, larger office in Cambridge.  The office will enable the company to not only house its expanding team in the city, but also provide a base from which to further develop its local customer base.

The new office is located in the prestigious St John’s Innovation Centre, which also houses many other highly innovative, cutting-edge technology businesses.  Opening in early  September, the office will house the company’s UK-based sales and marketing team, as well as a number of its invention engineers.

Commenting on the opening, Julian Nolan, Iprova’s CEO said: “Our client base is spread across Europe, North America and Asia.  However, we know that Cambridge is a key hub in the UK tech industry, which is why we originally established a presence there.  Continued expansion of our business has meant that we have outgrown our existing space and needed to find larger premises.

He added “Iprova is pioneering the use of artificial intelligence and other technologies to augment and enhance the human ability to invent.  We have a client base that includes global household names such as Philips, Sony and BIC and both the addition of new customers and our partnerships with companies such as Microsoft and, most recently, Lotus have meant that the team has grown. While we already have some local customers, we know that there are other companies in the Cambridge area who would benefit from using our software to take a data-driven approach to invention and also boost their patent portfolios.”
