Iprova is pleased to announce the appointment of ex-Amazon artificial intelligence expert Dr Catherine Breslin to its advisory board.  Dr Breslin’s appointment strengthens still further a board which was joined by leading IP journalist Joff Wild in spring 2023.

Dr Breslin brings a wealth of both technical knowledge and business understanding to the role.  Prior to having a pivotal role in the development of Amazon’s world-renowned Alexa cloud-based voice service, she held roles at Toshiba Research Europe and the University of Cambridge and has subsequently gone on to work as an advisor to a number of companies in the field of AI.  Her academic credentials are impeccable and include an MEng in Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Oxford and a PhD in Automatic Speech Recognition and Artificial Intelligence from the University of Cambridge.

Iprova CEO and Founder, Julian Nolan, commented “Catherine brings a unique blend of academic excellence and real-world experience to our advisory board.  As Iprova continues to develop its technology, having authoritative and objective advice and guidance is invaluable and Catherine is in an excellent position to provide precisely that.  Our advisory board provides a broad set of highly relevant skills, knowledge and insight that will help Iprova to continue to grow and develop.  We have some really exciting plans for 2024 and look forward to Catherine joining us.”

Dr Catherine Breslin added “It is an exciting time to be joining Iprova’s advisory board. Iprova combines deep expertise in the invention process with cutting-edge AI technology, allowing their customers to innovate faster than ever before. This space has huge potential and I’m looking forward to the journey.”
