Machine Learning and NLP Internships

We are seeking Machine Learning and NLP Interns to work with our talented team of researchers and software developers and play a leading role in advancing our state-of-the-art technology.

According to their preferences, the interns will be able to contribute to NLP areas in which Iprova is involved:

  • Sentence Compositionality is a great step toward human-like artificial intelligence. At Iprova, we are developing models that infer the meaning of the composition of sentences. The candidate will work alongside with AI researchers at IPROVA to develop and deploy new models for sentence compositionality

  • Transfer Learning has greatly impacted NLP these last months. Most of the current state-of-the-art methods suffer from the extensive computational power they need. The goal of this project is to explore new methods (e.g., knowledge distillation) to run these methods at scale.
  • Graph Mining  aims to analyze the structure and properties of a given graph. The project would involve developing algorithms to discover new patterns occurring in an evolving graph.
  • Dependency Parsing aims to extract the grammatical structure of a sentence. The aim of the project will be to develop a better dependency parser trained on our internal datasets
  • Coreference Resolution aims to identify expressions that refer to the same entity. The goal of this project is to explore some new DNN architectures that would improve our current coreference resolution model.

Minimum qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, machine learning or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Natural Language Processing and machine learning
  • Competent in relevant programming languages such as Python and C++ and/or Java
  • Excellent knowledge of algorithm design
